Since not enough players signed up, each Melee cup will have 4 players. Check the extended newspost to see your group and look at the changes on the map pool.

The final starts at 3 pm UTC today. Please be there and ready to play!

Tournament system

We wait for 32 people to sign up and randomly generate 4 Melee cup groups (8 people each). Rules for Melee cups apply.

First day: All four Melee cups are played and the last two remaining players of each cup participate for the finals, which is played the day after.

Second day: All finalists form another Melee cup and play until two players are left. These two players made it to the grand final and they will play a Best Of 3 to determine the winner of the tournament.

Procedure

If you are one of the participants join our IRC channel at least 30 minutes before your group cup is played. The schedule will be announced later. The cups will be played on XJ’s cup server; contact Zippow to obtain the password and do not share it. Spectators are only allowed on HLTV, so do not bother to ask for the password or join the cup server itself, you will be kicked.

Players, who do not show up in time, will be replaced or lose automatically. I want to remind you of all rules and request kind behavior; the admin is the referee in-game and none else. Sign up by posting a comment to this news.
