The water is dripping down my living room window, you all know that slow but powerful feeling of raindrops hitting the window, *pt* *pt* *pt* *pt*, as it drips down the window in different speeds. As a kid, I used to think about how the different drops on the window raced to the finish line, where you couldn't pot them anymore. It all smells just like dry asphalt that just got drenched by the rain, and I'm thinking this is cosy as hell. I sip on a can of Mike's killer lemonade and it refreshes me with the bitey lemon-taste, but at the same time makes me feel less and less emotionally involved in anything. It gives me a buzz that makes me feel good.At the same time I'm eating a few chips, it's really Lays - Original, they feel salty and nice on my palate as I continue to eat more and more, downing more and more booz and chips.

As I'm doing this, I'm thinking about that feeling you get when someone deserves something, and yet it never happens. I'm talking about that time your brother made you something and you never helped him back. That time you got some help from your friend, moving. But you never repaid the favor. This is one of those times. TinTin has been involved more or less in the Xtreme-Jumps projects for years and years, but he never got the acknowledge he deserves.

The first time I had my first personal encounter with Kristoffer "TinTin", was probably back in 2007'ish, where he joined the ventrilo chat me and omilo were having. Anyways, I joined and enjoyed the company. We laughed together, had huge arguments and even told each other to fuck off. But at the end of the day, these are the days I admire the most, where we all used to hang in vent, day or night. Whenever we had the time. We used to watch zhady record demos, or just chill in the moment.

Moxx: So first off all, tell the readers a little bit about yourself?

TinTin: Hey. Well my name is Kristoffer and I live in Oslo, Norway. I'm 22 years old and currently working as an IT support/technician. In my spare time I like to play/watch football and I'm also playing in a black metal band.

Moxx: And how did this Krisoffer get introduced to the climbing experience called Kreedz?

TinTin: Good question, and to be honest I don't really remember exactly when i started, I think it was back in late 2005 or early 2006. I had been playing CS for a while and started to get tired of it before I saw a kz-tag in the server list, I was instantly hooked of course because it was something I had never seen before it an fps game.

Moxx: I can see how you got hooked, but from my perspective it seems that you weren't that interested in jumping yourself?

TinTin: That sounds like an insult, hehe. But no, I was enjoying the relaxing aspect of the game rather than trying to compete, because one of the things I was tired of was the fast paced competitive gameplay in regular cs. When I first started i rarely specced anybody. I was there to relax and have fun

Moxx: So you've been involved in the Xtreme-Jumps project for quite a while, how did that start?

TinTin: I was caught "cheating" in a demo that I sent to kz-scandinavia. It was a jump;wait bind that Fire had told me about, and I forgot to change it back before recording. Anyway, all this lead to a ban on the website and ultimately I came in contact with omilo because of all this. We started talking and hanging out in servers and stuff. When there was an open spot in the XJ administration later on I had a fairly good reference from him I guess.

Moxx: So what was your purpose in Xtreme-Jumps? (Your job per say)

TinTin: At first my "job" was to keep the server(s) and forum clean, you know the basic admin stuff. After that I started running cups and hanging in the IRC channel, answering questions etc. When I think about it a better question would be "What did you not do in Xtreme-Jumps", hehe. I was a map checker for a while which was really fun at times. It was a privilege to be amongst the first to play trough really good kz-maps, but the task had it downsides too. Not to sound harsh, but most of the maps that got submitted was really bad in my opinion, and so the motivation to do a good job got worse. When thopa left I was asked to take care of demo releases with zhady (I think). That task was probably the hardest of all the things I did in XJ, and I've just got to give alot of creds to thopa for what he did all those years more or less completely alone. Oh yeah, I forgot. Well I was actually in the weekly crew for a long time too. Writing and editing stuff. (cont.)

Moxx: I see, so you were also involved in the Weekly Pro-challenges as well, if I remember correctly?

TinTin: When the Pro challenge initiative came up I was impressed with the idea of it, if I remember correctly it was Fire (?) who donated the first money into it, but then it was small sums like 5 or 10 USD. At the time i was already donating around 100 euros per month to XJ, and I descided to let some of it go towards the pro's in the community. It was a way of giving something back to those who made entertainment trough recording.

Moxx: Seems like you donated a whole lot of money to the causes of XJ, how come?

TinTin: XJ at the time was in some financial troubles, if I remember correctly OddYsseus who had previously been paying the server fees had to let somebody else take over. I felt that the community was worth keeping alive, i've always looked at XJ as something special and I spent alot time here, and surely I found good friends here whom I still talk to regularly. When I had money to spare I thought it would be a nice gesture to give something back.

Moxx: Seems like your a really good guy! Earlier you said that you used to talk to omilo allot, he's a really nice guy. Being me I spent allot of time with omilo in vent as well as you, whats your relation to him then rather than now? and how was it spending time with some of the big names in KZ? (i.e omilo, Moxx. etc)

TinTin: Good old times omilo is one of my all time favourite climbers, and he's also one of the nicest guys i've had the privilege to talk to. The times with the "guys" in vent are moments that i'll allways look back on with much joy. Sadly these days I've lost alot of contact with many of them. I guess different hobbies and other prioritations makes it hard to keep contact, which is kind of sad. But thats life I guess

Moxx: Must have been fun being in the "zone" of these guys. You say you've lost contact with alot of the old players, but how about now? keep any contact with them these days?

TinTin: Luckily I have kept contact with some. Of course my drunken fellow Moxx is one I speak to regularly Recently I joined the "clan" PhooGi where alot of my old friends play, so I intend to start playing again more frequently.

Moxx: Well seems like this interview is heading to an end, mind a few short questions?

TinTin: shoot!

Moxx: Vodka or Rum?

TinTin: Rum, actually neither, but for the sake of choosing one.

Moxx: Warm and cosy, or cold and "free"?

TinTin: cold and free!

Moxx: Drink at home alone or at a bar?

TinTin: I hate bars more than anything, so home alone (but preferably, with some good friends.)

Moxx: You one of those people who like to talk allot when your under the influence or the other kind where you stare out empty with no thought at all in your brain?

TinTin: Unfortunately the first choice, bad stuff happens

Moxx: Ok, well thanks for taking the time to answer these questions! Any special shout-outs or creds you'd like to give?

TinTin: Thanks for having me! Well theres alot of good guys that deserve all the creds in the world, but most of all those who keep this site and community alive. Also lots of love to Moxx, elITe, Necro, omilo, faker and those I might have missed..
