I'm sitting in a abandoned bus-stop, the the hard wind and whipping rain is hitting my face with a cold breeze. My face is so cold that every drop that hits my face feels like a hail. Every time I exhale you can see the warm moist, foggy breath as it leaves my longs. The time just clicked over from 23:59 to 00:00 as I see the last bus pass in the other direction. The green sign and headlights of the bus lights up the dark surroundings around me.
I'm all alone, in the middle of the night, in a freezing situation with no bus to catch, my only friend is my 1 liter Smirnoff Vodka sitting by my side. As the cork almost unscrews itself I can already feel that relaxed feeling in my muscles, as the bottle tips over and fills my throat with alcohol I already feel relaxed.
As I see the bottle go down too about half, it tilts back in to the stand-up position. As my mind force me to stand up and walk wherever the booze takes me. It's finally here, the well-being of the alcohol hit's my body as I get more energy and my thought's are clearing up. By taking a few steps out of the bus-stop the the rain and wind hits me with a cold breeze, but all I know is that; I don't care - here we go.
elITe, someone I personally know, but never met. If you watch back a couple of years, or many; I got introduced to elITe via my job as an admin, but also via our common clan: PhooGi.
elITe always striked me as a great fellow and friend, saying his mind rather than keeping something in, and for that I give him my respect. During the last couple of years I've lost some talking time with him personally, but we can always hit it off regardless of how much time has passed.
Moxx: So hey elITe, thanks for agreeing to this interview. When I think about how you started; my brain goes blank, could you tell me how you got interested and started with KZ?
elITe: Hi Moxx, and thanks for asking me! Well, one day i was playing regular CS, and i got bored of the map i was playing, so i searched for a new map in CS Internet search, and i saw this map called kz_adv_underground. At first i thought what kind of map is this? Only way to find out is to join. When i joined i saw 20+ people jumping around. Some where "flashing" (the old teleporting system) and i was wondering what it was. I figured we had to jump out of this big cave and meet the terrorists outside or something, but i quickly realised that there were no terrorists. So i asked the people what the hell they were doing. Then someone explained to me what they were doing, and told me about how to use checkpoint/gocheck. From that day, i got hooked!
Moxx: Anyone special who introduced you, or you just found it yourself?
elITe: I just found it by accident, and i'm glad that i did!
Moxx: Sweet, how did you get involved with Xtreme-Jumps? Or did you get involved even before that? And how was life outside the "bars"?
elITe: A friend told me about Xtreme-Jumps, I don't remember who it was to be honest, but it was a swedish kz mate i found early in the game. Before i played kz_adv_underground, i didn't know about Xtreme-Jumps. I was told about it approximately 6 month after i found out about kz. Well at first i didn't get bothered about finding a kz community. I was having too much fun to even bother
After some months, i started to think that this game have to have some communities out there. Then one day i found kzmaps.co.uk and kreedz.com by myself, and lastly i was introduced to Xtreme-Jumps. I was very happy to see these communities!
Moxx: Interesting being in it for that long, ever did any world-records or been involved in any jump-movies?
elITe: Yeah, it's been quite some time now. I was never in any movie, but i've had 2 world records in the past
Nothing impressive, i was the first to best those maps. I pwnd the leet n/a climber! My first WR was on vee_phgi_headquarters in 04:54, 2005-10-27. Second WR was on kz_ea_parkblock in 11:14, 2005-11-06.I might have done one more, not sure to be honest. I was never into recording.
Moxx: Not been that into recording, what were you into?
elITe: Mostly having fun testing new maps and playing with good friends i've found while playing this awesome game. Also it was much more fun playing cups! The good ol' cup days!<3
Moxx: Oh yeah the cups, good old times. You became an admin at Xtreme-Jumps for a while as-well if I don't remember wrong? Maybe you were involved even before that? What did you do?
elITe: You're right. At first i was forum admin, you know, keeping the forums clean and answering questions and stuff like that. After a while i was asked to join the mapcheck team, which was a blast. Testing new maps was really nice, but it got a bit too much after a while. Too many maps to check, and sometimes i wasn't that motivated to test them, so i was asked to leave the team, which was the right choice to do. After a year from that, i got the motivation back and applied for the job again and got accepted.
Moxx: I can see how the stress affects you, I know all about it. Did you ever regret leaving your position? Do you do anything these days for Xtreme-Jumps?
elITe: If anyone knows, it's definitely you. Well, a week ago i was aked to join the mapcheck team, not officially yet. I'm on a one month trial. So we'll see how that goes
Moxx: Haha, hope it works out! You also in PhooGi like allot of the other people on Xtreme-Jumps, how is that like? What's the best part, and how did you get invited to it?
elITe: Thanks!:D Yes, i've been in PhooGi since 2006. It's a great clan with really talented jumpers and great people! The best part is the people, they are just awesome! I've become really close to most of the members. I used to play a lot in the PhooGi server back then, and i got really close to dropsys, gangien, VeE and Moos3d. One day we were jumping kz_boulder_b01, dropsys asked me to join, so i did. Makes me sad that our buddy is no longer with us:( Will never forget him!<3 I could always talk to him about anything! We became really good friends.
Moxx: Really sad about dropsys
. You probably got allot of friends due to joining Xtreme-Jumps and PhooGi, you have any favorites? Seems like allot of people try to be your friend for fame these days..
elITe: I was very eager to help people when they needed it. I guess that paid off and people started thinking that i was a nice person. Of course by joining Xtreme-Jumps and PhooGi, the opportunity of getting good friends increased, and i'm all for that! About favourites, there are many that i've become close to. You were one of the first i got close to. Too many to mention here to be honest. Moxx omilo zhady Mehz TinTin dr0psys gangien PsYxOpAt ndR stukad radon Micron Chrizzy tarGet soul|ftw OFFBEAT Count eXcaLto mention a few! So many more to mention! Like you said in your question, a lot of people try to be your friend for the fame, and after a while their true colours shines through. For all out there who tries to be someones friend for the fame, just don't. It will shine through. It's much better if your intentions are sincere.
Moxx: Since you've been involved for quite a while, what's your specialty? or favorite thing to do?
elITe: I don't have any specific specialty i guess, i consider myself as an allrounded jumper. I love long maps! Give some love to the long and old kz maps people!
I love hanging out on vent with some close kz friends and just test new maps or jump around in their lan or a public server. As long as i'm with people i feel comfortable with, then i'm all set!
Moxx: And with being involved for this long in a community, you think there's anything positive about being active for that long?
elITe: If someone enjoys the community they're a part off, i'm pretty sure they will get something out of it. Like getting to know some intresting people, and develope a good relationship with those people. Maybe also being a part of something great, which will give them better confidence about themselfs, and use that in real life. If someone is a part of a community for a long time, they surely must have been there for a reason, and gotten some positive experiences.
Moxx: I bet there's allot of interesting aspects of being inside an community, seems like we're heading to an end with this interview though, how do you feel about a few quick-questions?
elITe: Sounds good to me!
Moxx: Kebab or Falafel?
elITe: Do you really have to ask!? Kebab all the way:D
Moxx: Coca Cola or Fanta?
elITe: Fanta, of course!
Moxx: Favorite beverage?
elITe: Water.
Moxx: Sibylla, Mcdonalds or anything else?
elITe: Moms food<3 But if i have to choose a fast food chain, Burger King.
Moxx: Good stuff, had allot of that myself in my days. Well time to say goodbye to the readers, and shout-outs, creds or anything you'd like to give?
elITe: Thanks for this great interview
Moxx:! Some great questions you had there! I'd like to give shoutouts to

![]() | Nice, now try to make the frontpage with people who are not systematically your friends, in other words people that might have a global interest and not only yours. No offense of course, but I do not see what is the point of a post about a most likely unpopular player on a worldwide community? |
kz`Moxx on 08/06/12 - 20:47 | |
![]() | I can see your point, but the fact that these people are my friends haven't changed the fact that I do it for for filling people's interests. Both TinTin, Gangien and elITe has been in this community for years and years. And maybe they're not interesting in your mind, but in others they are. And no shit I know them when I've been in it for a long time as well. |

| Really solid again, loving these. koukouz I believe weeklies are still a thing so maybe leave the "big" name interviews for them (also this is debatable since people consider these people well known like Moxx said). Also Moxx, my only complaint is that you could proof-read your intro to the interview. Since that's my only complaint, I'd say you're doing a great job. ps - just for the record I don't care who you interview I like learning more about people, whether they're a legend or not. | |

I agree with koukouz, even I like to read stories about old guys like your friends I would like to see also 2k8/2k9/2k10 players talking! But who the fuck am I to give opinions? =D Good job as usual! |

| | I agree with Moxx, These people are interesting because of the time some people have spent at XJ. Reading interviews with some of these people is a good way to reminisce on epic cup matches or time spent in the servers or vent with each other. Another good read! |
