	We should not use YT, some videos might be blocked in a few countries, music might get removed etc. Youtube has a lot of problems, while now, own3dtv is not laggy, not going to block you video in other countries and will not remove your music. Anyways, I like the quality and style of the embedded Own3D tv player.

	Just pointing it out, this dosen't mean that we will start using youtube for embedding videos, just that we will use our official youtube channel more. own3d.tv is first and foremost one of our sponsor and youtube isn't.

Not familiar with what features own3d.tv has available, but both the old and new player seems to give a rather choppy playback for me (sometimes at least).

YouTube plays perfectly smooth in any resolution (only tested up to 1080p), and HTML5 video is a neat feature. It's also better supported on mobile platforms. Obviously, YouTube must take its legal responsibilities seriously, which might become a problem for some videos.

My vote goes for YouTube, but no harm in using multiple streaming services.

	Still please, external own stream player. Good quality, you can manage it, no ads if you dont want. No music blocks and works on every country.

I'm pretty sure you won't ever get to pay for license material if you make your own streaming site. Take a look at sk-gaming. I bet they never paid anything to do theirs. As long as you don't distribute the music in its original form.

On a side note, I made a fully functional streaming site myself. Of cause there are tweaks to be made, but if it has any interest at all, it would be worth taking a look at

I gotta agree with dEMolite, copyright laws are very strict here in germany (just take a look on all the videos that are blocked for germany on yt), if we start offering our own stream for all the videos they [the labels] are gonna put us down faster than you can imagine (and make us pay sums we have to work our whole life to get them paid), since the server(s) are located in germany.

Afaik own3d.tv had to start neogating with them as well, even though they are located in austria; so we'll see what the future brings there.
