There is a new rule about custom sprites in demos:

Demos that require any sprites, models, sounds or gfx not coming with the downloadable .rar/.zip file in the download section are not allowed. Those custom files often come from AMXX plugins. If you want to avoid this, you should record your demo at a server not using metamod.

Due to this new Rule the kz_Minimountain demo was removed.

Due to the Big Map-Voting we have decided to add 2 of the Non-Kz Custom maps and another good Custom map by VeE to our Mappool.

The added maps are:

fo_h0pbl0ck by fo, skitz_bean_valley by skitz and vee_phgi_headquarters by VeE.

You can get them in our download section. [registered members only]

Thank you guys for taking part in the Map-Vote I, there will be future Map Votes if there are new Custom maps to add, too.

Every mapper who wants his map(s) put into the XJ Mappool can post the Maps in our Forum or send them via IRC to the admins, so we and the community can decide wheter the maps are added or not.

But, this is new too, even if the maps are "dismissed" and aren't added to the XJ Mappool you can get them in our Forum in the Custom Map Sticky.

Please write your opinion wheter you agree with this Policy or something should be changed

We realized that many people thought that we were a little bit too hard on cheaters. So we figured that it would be better to do what the majority of the community thinks. Nowadays, there is a table for how cheaters must be banned depending on which cheats they've used and how many demos they've submitted with the particular cheat. The countdown for the unban will start when the newspost is made.

VeE's, klzz's and Target-'s bans will be adjusted to fit this table. With a small exception for Target-. If you take a look at the table, you can see that cheaters that have used a "+jump;wait;-jump" script in 4 or more of their demos, will be banned. The reason for us to make this exception for Target- is that he had no chances at all to know about the consequences for his cheat.

VeE will be unbanned December 8, 2005
klzz will be unbanned Novemeber 18, 2005
Target- will be unbanned February 19, 2006

A new rule has also been added:

"Check your demo(s) with fps-Death and make sure all settings are correct and that your average fps is higher than 72 before you submit the demo(s)."
