Hello there,
I'm coming with several good news today!

First of all, congratulations to

puxi for sending us a 248 bhop done with 125fps, enjoy your ban!

And then a happier news, as you read in the newspost title, the Longjump World Record was broken by

FreestyleR! The demo of this impressive 257 units is of course available in the LJ Records page.
You also got a clip so as not to forget this historical date in the kz community!

Last but not least, I updated the LJ Records page
Don't wonder why there are only 5 jumps per category, we simply decided to shorten it due to the huge amount of time it requires but especially the increasing number of cheated/faked demos we receive.

The CJ/DCJ lists are now fixed.

Don't blame ndR or XJ that the LJ records got reduced to top5, it was simply impossible to maintain a bigger list with the amount of fake/cheat demos submitted and the admins/eDark's time available for checking LJ demos...

Cheaters are finding more and more ways to try (or do) trick our admins and all of you guys, so by now it takes about 1-2 hours to check every possible cheat in _ONE_ demo (various forms of slowmotion, setting altering plugins just like sidespeed, bhop hacks that can't be seen in fps-d when it comes to bhop lj etc.)... and not even the top5 is save, as there is at least one more cheated demo in the list atm since the demos got only a standard check for now (already told ndR, it's going to get removed), a detailed check by eDark is coming soon... maybe more, only god knows that.

So thank all the cheaters out there for destroying the (big) LJ list.

There won't be any poll Skizo, this decision was already taken several months ago.

The LJ Records list was meant to turn into a top3 for each category but faker and I decided to raise it to a top5 a few days ago.

Firstly well done to FreestyleR and to the XJ staff for finally putting records up, just a few things I would like to point out. I don't play much anymore nor do I check here often but it seems everytime I come back its exactly the same.

I am still unable to understand where this mentality came from, where its somewhat trendy to hate on longjumping, talking down to longjumpers and belittling their preferred aspect of the game, maybe the rest of the community is impressed but I am far from it, maybe you feel big about yourselves standing over longjump or something, who knows but its unfortunate. Longjumping is a legitimate aspect of kz and no matter what you idiots say it will always be around, I am actually a massive fan, I find it to be quite brilliant, it is the raw form of strafes and evidence behind techniques working in the game you all play. But congrats to the absolute misc's who sit back and talk shit to longjumpers and pretend like their demos matter more, that is ridiculous, it is an individual game and your time/effort/demos are no more important than a longjumpers so honestly stop acting like heroes.

The majority of good longjumpers have put in the hard yards, spending hours of trial and error trying to get it all right, 'geeking' longjump, so what gives anyone the right to have a go at longjumping, maybe you got a few public times in the beta server and think you're actually good at the game rofl pfft you're hopeless and pretty much clueless.

I actually feel bad for Skizo, I don't actually know how it feels cause I was never good enough but I can't express how proud I am of myself for landing the longjumps that I did and for someone to tell me it was bad or not worth the time (in this case, XJ's time) is just depressing.

I understand why there aren't more longjumos on the list but I also understand COMPLETELY why skizo and others are upset about having a smaller LJ list, as we all know their are people that have given their kz careers away to longjumping and (despite the work involved) for XJ or anyone on this site to say 'stop complaining' or, as I said, belittle longjumping in anyway; is just inconsiderate and wrong, its fucking wrong.

No one should be able to tell others how their game should be played nor make them feel bad about the way they play them, and its people that haven't even got WR's or achieved anything worth talking about, so it leaves me wondering what they are actually gaining from talking so much shit.

And I get it XJ, for years wondering the worth of listing longjumps and weather the site should support longjumping or not, well of course it should, you're an absolute idiot if you don't think XJ should have longjumps. Longjumping is part of kz, a BIG part even of kz and last time I checked XJ was the official kz community ye? so why was it ever questions? because a few 'pros' don't like it? rofl people need to start thinking before they jump on the bandwagon or throw around ignorant opinions.

Anyway, honestly well done FreestyleR, I really enjoyed watching your jump as I do all longjumps and I hope you continue and can impress me with more in the future. I hope that longjumpers aren't disheartened by this community horrible mentality toward longjumping because despite what they all say there will always be fans, and although they may not admit it, I can, I love longjumping and will always respect and enjoy a good longjumper <3

I expected you to post here lagster since you're around in every longjumping thread/newspost. First, nobody have said anything bad about the new world record. Second.. what the fuck? Why should whole the community care if someone feels bad because he's not good enough to be in the top5? Why running your own community? Well, why should XJ do the job for you just to please you? I still can't get why is there even 5 best demos in each category - why should I give a damn about a demo that is worse than the world record?

Just to note you that a single newspost releated to longjumping attracts people - site is 10 times slower than usually because much more people visit the site. Why wouldn't an extra LJ-Community work out then?

As you already started discussing the map records, I'd want to ask: Why isn't there 10 or 5 best demos for each map out there? There are currently 549 maps - 10 demos for each makes 5490 demos in total. Now think about the admins - 10 times more demos are being submitted, which means 10 times more job for admins. And not to mention that storing all these demos need more disk space - this costs. So yeah, why not running your own community rather than asking for senseless changes (as senseless as if people would ask for 10 demos for each map).

I didn't ask XJ to do the job "for me" - a top 30(?) cant remember exactly, has been a part of the site in a really long time. You can't put it up like that, not at all. A longjump record lasts around 1~ minute. A record could last 25 minutes. Why are we even discussing kz records now? It has nothing to do with it.

Yup, I seriusly spend my night reading this bullcrap... So, here's what I think:
1) StormZz, GTFO, very offensive post.
