Hey everyone,

It's been a while since I did my last news post on XJ, but I do hope that some of you might still remember me. Sadly the occasion for this post is not a happy one, as our previous CEO CyclopP had to retire from his position, as his schedules and real life obligations did not give him the time and chance to take care of XJ as he wanted to anymore. I want to use this occasion to thank you for all the work you did and all the events and projects you contributed to this website over the years, it won't be forgotten, Ovidiu!

As a new CEO we announce a fellow that I think many of you, users and admins, wanted and hoped to see in this position: hoLy

With leading insilio.net for several years I'm confident he has the required knowledge and skills to successfully lead XJ into a brighter and more active future. After speaking to him for a while I learnt he has a lot of passion and energy and a lot of ideas and projects that are waiting to be realized.

Without further ado... Lets give a warm welcome to hoLy as new CEO!

Nobody in their right mind, would think that it would be a walk in the park to be CEO of a community, so it's understandable the less desirable effects of the process of moving into the more grindy parts of the job. For that I would like to thank you for at least trying to really push through with, what I believe to be, good intentions. Your apology well accepted. Glad that you don't feel completely disowned by the community. You gave it a good shot, and trust me, the leadership of XJ is pretty much always under constant fire, it's really nothing new. I'd like to apologise for my rather moronic forum post. I felt like you hung on too long to the title and wanted to put pressure on your decision.
