This time we would like to present something uncommon. Something that was not so wide-spread throughout the community when released.
In previous years, there were ambitious projects using more advanced procedures and moviemaking software.
We all remember IceVip and his breakthrough in this matter, following up with other moviemakers experimenting with C4D usage as well. This time it's kawai , and his new storyline/atmospheric project created using Unreal Engine 4.
There is not a brick (maybe grain of sand in this case) on its place after this re-edition. The movement was affected a lot as well, you can barely expect anything conventional. Using the well known formula of bkz_goldbhop in a case where it is not a cliché certainly turns heads. Just from top of my memory, I remember iNsprate's C4D edit of kz_summercliff2 which is very organic and fun to watch (due to his map/run choice). Nevertheless this time it's bkz_goldbhop, like never before:
A few words from kawai himself:
It should be the 4th speed-run movie I created with UE4 workflow, which is inspired by the classic KZ map, namely bkz_goldbhop. The jumper, shNz , is one of my idols in this game-mode. He was away for so long but was finally back these days and brought such amazing demos to us. I made this speed-run movie, just to share my feelings to all the people: shNz is back, and he is always that unique shNz . This movie is not traditional KZ movie, so it's not easy to make everyone happy with it. Thanks for watching and supporting!
