I believe this moviemaker does not need much introduction in this community anymore. There are not many moviemakers who have reached this level of editing, where you know every single video you watch from them will not disappoint you. Even if you may not like all their videos, you still respect the level of quality and professionalism in them.
en3y aka korban has a very good touch for combining a bit unusual soundtracks with very energetic editing. You may remember the first part of this series from 2016, featuring Toffifee on kz_cliffez.
The idea is to piece together a run from multiple segments, trying to showcase what a perfect run on the map could look like.
These showcases also require the player to be the absolute top of what kz world has to offer at that moment.
This time it is fykseN delivering you an idea of how much the world record could be improved.
He is already well known for his ability to execute all aspects of a run with an incredible precision. Here is a few words from him regarding this project:
I've had this idea in my head for a while. Maybe not since the release of kz_cliffez video, but I'd say around the time I got into shorter maps. In the beginning of 2018, I had a talk with shooting-star and asked him if kz_sola would be a fine record. He didn't believe that I could make it happen with my skillset back then. It was an extreme challenge for me and I really wanted to prove myself, not only to him. Up to this date, kz_sola is the map that I spent the most time on (after kz_construction). As I grew with the map and pretty much mastered it, I realized that you can go much further. This video is a demonstration of ideas and trickjumps that I compiled over the years. Hopefully someone will take over and do them in real run one day. I am korban's fanboy since his risk_snowcastle battlemovie, it was an absolute honor to work with him on such a project. Perhaps my last project ever.
Even on a map like kz_sola, that has been pushed by 17 different players, the current record is still far from its maximum potential. But how much could it be improved? Watch and see.
